The Setauket Yacht Club, located on Port Jefferson Harbor; Long Island
Sound, provides social and educational programs; including a full schedule of
sailing instruction for both children and adults. In addition, we offer both racing
and cruising events throughout the season for sailors and power boaters.
Port Jefferson is one of the most popular deep water harbors on Long Island Sound.
An extensive renovation of the waterfront and village have made it a popular port of call
for visiting boaters. Protective coves for weekend anchoring have added to the
popularity of Port Jefferson for recreational boaters. In addition Port Jefferson Village
is host to many restaurants guaranteed to please even the most discerning palate. Our
docks and three launches offer convenient and deep water access to your boat.
The Club appoints a Membership Committee each year to meet with prospective members and
provide them with information about the club. Membership Chairman Mark Campo is
